DECAPEINT is a so-called "destructive" formula based on sodium hydroxide, alkaline salts and surface active solutions. He allows pickling uncooked paints (glycerophtalic, vinyl, acrylic, primer) on substrates such as wood and ferrous metals.

Method of use:

DECAPEINT must be diluted in water.
Allow it to act. When the paint is well destroyed, rinse thoroughly with a high pressure cleaner.

TREATMENT OF WOOD AFTER PICKLING:
After rinsing, DECAPEINT pickled wood will undergo an acid neutralisation to lighten the wood before painting.

METAL TREATMENT AFTER PICKLING:
After rinsing the DECAPEINT pickled pieces, it is necessary:

  • to treat them with HYPRADEX AP607 to eliminate all oxidation traces;
  • or to perform a chemical surface conversion (phosphate treatment, chromic or organic passivation) before their repainting.

ASSEMBLY OF THE BATH:

  • Fill the tank with water, add DECAPEINT (heat release).
  • Homogenise the mixture.
  • concentration: 4% to 10% by weight
  • Temperature: 20 °C to 40 °C
  • Contact time: Variable according to the type and the thickness of the paints to be treated
